Frequently Asked (& Mentally Transmitted) Questions...
What the heck do you actually do?
My performances have included: demonstrations of thought-reading, predictions (often made days or weeks in advance), answering of questions to a live audience, bending metal by thought, seances, palm/tarot (& other) readings, and other acts that are difficult to put into words. I'd like to add that describing my show in words is like describing your favorite food or beverage...no matter how well you put it, it's no substitute for the actual experience...not even close. Please NOTE: from my perspective, there is nothing inherently controversial or unethical contained in what I do. That said, if you have any concerns, I ask that you please contact me at your earliest convenience so that I can address them up front.
What am I thinking?
Come to a show, and I'd be happy to tell you! I've yet to disappoint anyone!
How can I see you?
Come to a show! Please note: over the past 8-10 years, as my private work has steadily increased, my public events have decreased in frequency. If you know of a venue (pub, restaurant, club, charity organization, whatever) that you feel would benefit from my presence, please put me in touch with with them. I do have some video here, if you'd like a preview. And don't forget to read the reviews about me here. Beyond this, make sure you join my Facebook page and/or sign up for my email list to stay informed of when I will be performing publicly.
I've never heard of you, where have you been hired?
For a time, I was a well-kept secret, but that appears to have changed during 2012 and 2013. Much of my work occurs in private homes. That said, I have been featured at countless Girl's Night Out Events in New York, Boston, and Connecticut, Fashion's Night Out at Sak's Fifth Avenue (NYC), and The Hoboken International Film Festival. My corporate clients include: Norwich Public Utilities, Kiehl's cosmetics, Bridgeport Hospital, New London County Mutual Fire Insurance, Actuarial Careers, Inc., Alden Global Capital, Strengthen-Lengthen-Tone (NYC), VIATechnik, Real Beanz Iced Coffee, and MANY more - this has grown to a very huge array over time, and the full list can be found here.
Are you any good?
While I no longer hear this very often, I have to say I'm surprised I still get asked this, given my (to-be-expected) bias. In my experience in this (and other) fields, I strongly feel that the most important and honest opinions can be found with those who are pay for the goods and services. With that in mind, I direct you to the opinions of my clients.
What kind of events can you do?
I can probably do just about any event that you can think of...I'm not kidding. To date, I have been hired for: weddings, birthday parties, bridal showers, Holiday parties, Bachelorette parties, Corporate events, Awards dinners, Heavy Metal concerts, Girls' Night Out events, Christmas parties, Hanukkah parties, Library programs, and likely even more that I can't recall at the moment...
What can I expect if I want to hire you?
That can depend primarily on the exact event, but generally:
How long should I hire you for?
That depends primarily on your needs, but I am happy to offer guidelines:
How far in advance should I book you?
While I like to accommodate as many clients as I can, the sooner the better. This guarantees I will be available for your event. I am usually giving 2-3 quotes for the same date on average, and booking sooner can make all the difference. Also, when I quote for events less than 12 months in advance, I give you a current price, not the following year's price.
Why do you require a deposit?
Because demand for my services has grown so much over the past 8-10 years, and because I am turning down several other offers when I am booked for a certain date: a last-minute cancellation costs me:
1) the money I would've made from the booking I accepted and
2) the money I paid in booking fees through any booking service you found me through.
I have the utmost respect for my client's time, and unfortunately this feeling is sometimes not reciprocated. In some cases, clients have booked me for an event and then not bothered to tell me the event was cancelled, or that they decided to hire someone else - while in the meantime I am turning down other (in some cases, more lucrative) offers out of respect for a client whose event I think I am booked for.
Has anyone ever told you that you're expensive?
On rare occasion, yes. When you book me, you are getting a Gigmasters 5-STAR Rated performer for your event. I have been compared to giants in the field. While I'm flattered by the comparisons, I feel I'm not quite there, yet. That said: because of the services I offer, because of my record accommodating all of my clients' requests, and because of the level of professionalism offered (in addition to the great time your guests will have), your money is well-spent.
I found someone locally who charges less. Will you match their price?
If you want the cheapest person available, I have no issue if you prefer to hire them. If we already have a booking/contract, then of course the answer is "no." When you book me, you are getting a Gigmasters 5-STAR Rated performer for your event. I have been compared to giants in the field. While I am not on the level of certain individuals you might see on TV, I am close, and you are giving your guests the absolute best value for money. Again: because of the services I offer, because of my record accommodating all of my clients' requests, and because of the level of professionalism offered (in addition to the great time your guests will have), your money is well-spent.
How do you do what we've seen in your shows?
No answer ever seems to be good enough, so I'll continue to give the most practical answer I can: patience, study, discipline, & refinement.
Are you psychic?
It depends on your definition. To me, the word "psychic" gets thrown around so much, I'm not sure if anyone really agrees on (or even knows) its meaning. From my perspective, everyone is psychic...to a certain degree.
I'm a skeptic! What do you say to that?!? Can you change my mind?
I say: good! I've mentioned in the past that there's nothing wrong with skepticism. In fact, I consider it quite healthy...in moderation. I still have people telling me hypnosis isn't real, even when they see it right in front of them! That said, most self-proclaimed skeptics love my show. The only thing I expect during my shows is courtesy. Let me say this: It is not my intention to change anyone's mind, even though I actually have on occasion. Please note: if you display any kind of disrespectful behavior at an event where I am performing or reading, you will be asked to leave.
You're not one of those people on TV that cheats people out of money, are you?
Friends of mine have pointed out on more than one occasion that in all the years I've been doing this, I've only taken financial advantage of one person: ME.
Are you involved with Social Media at all?
Yes, I am! I'm on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Thumbtack, and Tumblr for those who are searching for me.
I'm a client/member of Gigmasters/The Bash. Are you involved with them?
Yes! You can view my Gigmasters/The Bash press kit here!
How can I hire you?
The fastest and easiest way is to contact me.
How much do you charge?
It depends on several factors, namely: length & type of performance, travel distance, and other requests on the part of the client. Quotes are free, and you can get one here. If you are member of Gigmasters/The Bash, my performance quote form is here. Please NOTE: If you are working with a tight budget, please let me know in advance.

What can I expect if I want to hire you?
That can depend primarily on the exact event, but generally:
- For my mind-reading/hypnosis shows: I will read the minds of and/or hypnotize your guests (nothing humiliating). It's a jaw-dropping experience, and guests have a great time. Please check out my videos for examples.
- For readings: I offer your guests a reading of their choice. These are usually Palm or Tarot, but I can offer something else on request, if that will serve the needs of the event better. If they are not sure, then I can help with that. I can realistically read 8-9 people per hour (~5 mins each, and then factoring in time in between). However, if you would prefer that I spend more time with each guest, please consider and mention that up front. These can be geared towards a guest's specific question or concern -OR- I can simply read for them and we can address anything that might come up.
- For paranormal entertainment shows/Seances: this can range from people getting freaked out to full-blown nightmares after the event is over. I appreciate that these kinds of events are not for all audiences. Please contact me up front with any questions you may have.
- In all cases, if you have any questions or concerns, I am always available for you to contact me up front.
How long should I hire you for?
That depends primarily on your needs, but I am happy to offer guidelines:
- For my mind-reading or paranormal entertainment shows: I can do 30/60/90 minutes...I can also do more or less if needed, but in those cases, please contact me for details.
- For readings: I can realistically read 8-9 people per hour (~5 mins each, and then factoring in time in between). However, if you would prefer that I spend more time with each guest, please consider that up front.
